Funeral Directors Charges - £2025

Includes:

• Services of Funeral Director with 24hr support
• Removal of deceased within a 30 mile radius into Funeral Directors care
• Use of private chapel of rest (appointment)
• Care of deceased up until funeral date
• Full administration to all funeral arrangements including completion on necessary documentation, advice on registering the death and purchase of additional death certificates, liaising with third parties such as Church Offices and crematoriums.
• Administrating of donations in memory of your loved one.
• Provision of motorised hearse
• Full staff on day of funeral including drivers, Pall Bearers and Ushers.
  Oak veneer coffin suitable for both burial or cremation.

Additional costs

• Gravedigging and preparation for burial from £400
• Gravedigging and preparation for ashes burial £125
• Funeral Director arranging and attending ashes interment £125
• Saturday surcharge £50 morning £100 afternoon
• Additional Bearers £55 EACH
• Limousine Hire £190 Additional Limousines Hired in approximately £200 per car.
• Embalming (not including transportation) £160

• Solid oak grave markers with engraved brass e.b plate £35-40

• Obituary notices – Shropshire Star £40-£60 per insert, Ludlow Advertiser £120-£150 per insert dependent on wording.

• Telford £997.00 or direct unattended £499.00

Terms are 30 days from the date of invoice. 2% interest per calendar month will be added to invoices not paid within the 30 days. We also ask that you notify us if you send the invoice to a third party. If it’s easier for yourself we can liaise with any solicitors or third parties if needed. At times paying for a loved ones funeral can be difficult if the death was unexpected. If your experiencing difficulty just let us know at the time of arranging the funeral and we can talk over with you the payment options you have available our aim is to always help the family as best as we can at their time of need.
